chore: consolidate superseded experiment history into main

History-only merge: retain the original Node worktree snapshot 1c7dd29 without reverting its canonicalized implementation (63ea2be and subsequent main fixes). RAV004 commits 45019f8/cd16ea2/88e47fc and Gaussian commits 2ccf172/2e44e27 are patch-equivalent to commits already in main (verified with git cherry). The current source tree is intentionally unchanged; old snapshots remain reachable for audit.
